Search terms

• Search terms are not case-sensitive and accents/special characters are not required: entering kljuc will find Ključ
• For more complex search terms use more words from multiple columns with space between words: entering ICTY Crimes against humanity Srebrenica Life imprisonment will find a case with these terms regardless in which column or part of the field the word is positioned.
• If you want to specify the location or country of the crime in your search, enter place of crime: Vukovar or country of crime: Republic of Croatia.

• Applicable law/statute

Advanced search

• Advanced search allows users to construct a search query by adding groups and conditions to a graphical interface that is clear and easy to follow.
• Already built into advanced search is a series of conditions that can be applied to all of the data types recognisable by the database.
• Advanced search automatically recognises the column type and presents the conditions that are available for it.

Order by column

• By clicking on the column name you can sort rows in ASCENDING order
• The second click on the column will change the order to DESCENDING

Clear button

• It will delete all search terms.

Export data

• When the database filter is active, users can export data in Excel or .csv format.

Column visibility

• The Column visibility buttons provide a set of buttons that can be used to easily give the end-user the ability to set the visibility of columns.

Show entries

• It is possible to easily customise the length of the page by using the Show entries option.

You cannot export data if you have not entered search terms in the Search box or set criteria in Advanced Search. Please specify some of the search criteria in Search box or Advanced Search!
